Bitcoin Rainbow Chart: Log Regression Bands
The rainbow chart plots Bitcoin's price on a log scale and lays color bands above and below a curve fit to its long-term price history, showing at a glance whether price is cheap or expensive relative to the long-term trend. The lower blue bands lean undervalued; the upper red bands lean overheated.
This site fits a least-squares line of log10(price) against the log of days since the genesis block, using all daily prices since 2011, and draws 10 boundaries (9 bands) spaced 1/6 apart in log10 terms around it. As history accumulates, the fitted line shifts slightly and past bands are redrawn, so band positions may differ from other sites' rainbow charts.
It is a reference chart for gauging long-term cycle position and does not predict price. This is not investment advice.
